From 19 to 25 May 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of capacity and competence within drilling, and the arrangements for employee participation at West Linus.

From 8 to 10 June 2016, the PSA, together with the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, carried out an audit of the operator's management of environmental data collection at Draugen.

From 18 to 20 May 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of Total E&P Norge (Total) in connection with pressure-balanced drilling using Maersk Gallant.

From 18 to 19 April 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of detail engineering of the Johan Sverdrup export pipelines.

From 9 to 11 May 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of the management and performance of crane and lifting operations and follow-up of occupational health and safety at Tjeldbergodden (TBO).

From 1 to 8 April 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of Statoil's management of barriers on the Sleipner complex (Sleipner A/R/T).

From 1 to 4 February 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of BP's Ula facility. The audit identified serious breaches of the regulations. Based on the findings made during the audit, the PSA has given BP two orders.

The PSA has carried out an audit of A/S Norske Shell (Shell)'s management of technical, operational and administrative aspects of logistics and Shell's management of the working environment at Draugen.

On 22 April 2016, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) carried out an audit of Statoil Petroleum AS (Statoil) and its project follow-up of materials handling, occupational health and safety and drilling for the Johan Sverdrup drilling facility.

From 26 to 28 April 2016, the PSA carried out an audit of Statoil Petroleum AS (Statoil) and alarm load and human factors in the central control room of the onshore facility at Mongstad in Hordaland county.
