Major project on incident follow-up and further development of investigation processes

In the period 2022 to 2025, the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has received funding to expand its expertise, tools, methods and processes for following up and learning from serious incidents and investigations related to petroleum activities.

Employees, the union and company managers at the Glencore Nikkelverk nickel plant in Kristiansand have come together and succeeded in transforming dyslexia from a shame-laden taboo into an integral part of an open corporate culture. This has resulted not only in safer and more efficient operations, but also in an enhanced sense of well-being and greater pride in the workplace.
