Equinor – Aasta Hansteen – operation, maintenance and barriers for subsea and pipe infrastructure

The audit was conducted on 25 and 26 January 2022. 

Objective

The objective of the audit was to monitor how Equinor is working to protect the integrity of subsea and pipe infrastructure at Aasta Hansteen and how the company ensures that operations comply with the regulations and its own requirements. 

Result 

One non-conformity was identified, relating to barriers. 

What happens now? 

We have asked Equinor to report on how the non-conformity will be addressed. 

The deadline for this is set at 1 April 2022.
