Report from the North Sea Offshore Authorities Forum (NSOAF) summarizes findings and learning points from an international audit series aimed at maintenance for the safe operation of mobile facilities.

SINTEF has prepared a report for us compiling information on the availability of data on condition and risks, condition monitoring of previous faults, and vulnerabilities due to digital solutions that may affect safety.

We have had a report prepared describing relevant repair methods for load-bearing structures on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The objective of this work is to form a better understanding of the scope, quality and challenges linked to different repair methods for steel and concrete structures.

The use of composite repairs appears to be on the rise. The PSA is working to help reduce the risk of major accidents linked to repair methods, not least by improving the industry’s knowledge and awareness of this topic.

The PSA has conducted a pilot study to identify opportunities for improving safety, in addition to risk and uncertainty, in the context of digitalisation of maintenance work in the petroleum industry.
