The audit was conducted on 30 August and 1 September 2021.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the helideck complies with the regulatory requirements so as to contribute to safe helicopter operations and transport of personnel.
Result
As concerns emergency preparedness, two factors categorised as non-conformities were identified during the audit. These were:
- Signage, marking and obstacles in evacuation routes
- Emergency preparedness training
The Civil Aviation Authority Norway, which was our auxiliary agency for the audit of helicopter operations, identified ten non-conformities/observations.
What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
