The audit was conducted from 28 August to 8 September 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess how Odfjell is ensuring compliance with the authorities’ and its own requirements in respect of the management of maintenance on Deepsea Stavanger.
Result
We identified five non-conformities, concerning:
- Labelling of equipment
- Maintenance
- Classification
- Maintenance programme
- Maintenance effectiveness
We also identified five improvement points, concerning:
- Barriers
- Training
- Use of data
- Maintenance of liquid seals
- Maintenance of temporary equipment
What happens now?
We have asked Odfjell Drilling to report to us on how the non-conformities will be addressed, and for their assessment of the improvement points identified. The reply deadline is set at 28 October 2023.
