The audit was conducted from 10 to 16 June 2021.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify Equinor's follow-up of the operation and maintenance of structures, maritime systems and risers, and to ensure that the company has a holistic approach to safe operation and operates in accordance with its own requirements and regulatory requirements.
Result
Three non-conformities were identified relating to:
- Deficiencies in maintenance management
- Planning and prioritisation of maintenance
- Training related to maritime systems
In addition, two improvement points were identified, relating to:
- Stability
- Anchoring system
What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed. The company has also been asked for its assessment of the improvement points identified. The deadline for this is set at 15 October 2021.
