The audit was conducted from 7 to 10 June 2021.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that cranes and lifting operations, materials handling and work at height complied with the regulatory requirements.
Result
Two non-conformities were identified concerning:
- Follow-up of crane-operator competence
- Marking of escape routes
In addition, three improvement points were identified, concerning:
- Deficiencies in the safe use of lifting equipment
- Use of materials handling plans
- Use of personnel basket
What happens now?
We have asked ConocoPhillips to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed. The company has also been asked for its assessment of the improvement points observed. The deadline for this is set at 6 August 2021.
