The background for the seminar is previous incidents related to flexible pipes, development of standards and international cooperation.
In our annual summary of the risk level on the Norwegian continental shelf (RNNP), flexible pipes have previously accounted for the majority of reported damages and incidents with pipelines, risers and subsea facilities. In recent years, we have seen an improvement in follow-up, monitoring and integrity management that has reduced the potential for safety-related incidents.
The aim of the seminar is to increase the general knowledge about integrity management of flexible pipes and share experiences from design, installation and operation that can contribute to risk reduction and continuous improvement.
We are working on the program and will be published on this page during the autumn of 2025.
