The consent includes the removal of the steel jacket on the former riser platform 2/4-G on the Ekofisk field.
The riser platform 2/4-G and pipelines were owned by the Valhall field and were operated by ConocoPhillips through an agreement with the former BPAmoco. Aker BP took over the ownership in 2016.
