The audit was conducted from 14 to 16 February 2024.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to monitor that the process safety of loading and unloading hoses and storage tanks at Åsgard C complies with the regulatory requirements, so as to reduce the risk of failures, hazards and accidents.
Result
We identified one non-conformity and two improvement points during the audit. The non-conformity concerned the use of data for the improvement of equipment and systems. The improvement points concerned:
- Better documentation for safeguarding process safety
- Barrier against pressure surges at Åsgard B and Kristin
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor to report to us by 19 April 2024 on how the non-conformity will be addressed, and for their assessment of the improvement points observed.
