The audit was conducted between 26 October and 1 November 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the integrity of structures and maritime systems is safeguarded in compliance with the HSE regulations.
Result
We identified one non-conformity concerning the conclusion of operational measures before verification has been completed.
We also identified four improvement points concerning:
- Discrepancy between governing documents and operational practice
- Lack of indication of open/closed position of ballast valves
- Opening and closure times for watertight doors
- Two watertight doors are left open in normal operation
What happens now?
We have asked Vår Energi to report to us on how the non-conformity will be addressed, and for their assessment of the improvement points identified. The reply deadline is set at 15 January 2024.
