KCAD – Askeladden – management of emergency preparedness

The audit was conducted between 20 and 23 February 2023.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to verify the technical condition and relevant documents in the management system in order to monitor that requirements in the petroleum regulations are being adhered to.

Result

We identified two non-conformities, concerning:

• Emergency preparedness training and exercises
• VHF headsets in lifeboats

What happens next?

We have asked KCA Deutag Drilling to report to us on how the non-conformities will be addressed. The reply deadline is set at 28 April 2023.
