Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that follow-up of Vale in late life complies with the regulations, and to examine more closely the work on a life extension for the field.
Result
One non-conformity was identified relating to acceptance criteria and performance requirements for leak detection.
In addition, four improvement points were identified, relating to:
- Flexible end pipes
- Christmas tree
- Wellhead
- Risk assessments relating to leaks
What happens next?
We have asked Spirit Energy to report on how the non-conformity will be addressed and for their assessment of the improvement points observed. The deadline for this is set at 30 October 2020.
