From 22 to 24 September 2019, we carried out an audit of Maersk Drilling relating to logistics on Maersk Inspirer while it was berthed at the Aker Solutions yard in Egersund for modification for the Yme field.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify the technical condition and relevant documents in the management system in order to monitor compliance with the requirements of the petroleum regulations.
Result
One non-conformity was identified concerning deviation handling.
In addition, three improvement points were identified in connection with:
- Lifting operations manual and materials handling plan
- Maintenance of competence
- Technical conditions
What happens next?
Maersk Drilling has been given a deadline of 16 December 2019 to report on how the non-conformity and improvement points will be addressed.
