The audit was carried out in the period 3 to 6 September 2018.
Haven is a jack-up quarters facility accommodating 444 people. The facility was issued with an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AOC) by the PSA in 2011. From June 2018, it has been in use as a quarters facility on the Johan Sverdrup field, where Equinor is the operator.
Haven is owned by Master Marine and operated by OSM Offshore.
The objective of the audit was to verify regulatory compliance within the management of emergency preparedness and the helideck.
A non-conformity was observed in relation to fire stations, as well as improvement points relating to training of the emergency preparedness organisation and evacuation from lifts.
We have asked OSM Offshore to report back to us by 16 November 2018 on how they will address the non-conformity and for their assessment of the improvement points observed.
