The study is based on open sources, previous studies, supervision reports and dialogue with the industry, including operators, suppliers and authorities.
The objective of the study has been to:
- provide an overview of the risks, scope and challenges associated with coordination and collaboration and the management of projects, modifications and maintenance during operation.
- communicate experience and examples of good practice.
The report aims to provide a comprehensive description of the key elements that may be significant when assessing safety and risk related to interfaces and coordination for work carried out offshore. This is intended to ensure that personnel who do not work with these matters on a daily basis can also gain an overview of, and an understanding of, the issues and challenges associated with facilities in the production phase.
