EU AI collaboration under the spotlight in Norway

How can we ensure that artificial intelligence is used responsibly in Europe? On 14 May 2025, Standards Norway brought together Norwegian and European experts for an international seminar hosted by the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) standards. The seminar was opened by Minister of Digitalisation and Public Governance Karianne Oldernes Tung, who stressed the importance of standardisation in the development of Norwegian AI policy.
