The temporary use is related to the reconstruction of Sleipner B following the fire in 2024. The reconstruction project began in autumn 2026 and, according to the application, will require extensive offshore activity over a period of approximately two years.
The consent applies during the period when West Elara is connected to Sleipner B, in accordance with the consent granted on 26 August 2026.
