Gjøa

Gjøa is a field in the northern part of the North Sea, 50 kilometres northeast of the Troll field. The water depth in the area is 360 metres. Gjøa was discovered in 1989, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2007. The field is developed with four subsea templates and one satellite well tied-back to a semi-submersible production and processing facility. Production started in 2010.
