The consent applies to accommodation and well maintenance on the Yme field.

The drilling operation will begin in September 2018.

Rowan Stavanger is a jack-up facility of the KFELS N class, delivered in 2011 by Keppel FELS Shipyard of Singapore. It is operated by Rowan Drilling Norway AS.

Rowan Stavanger received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) from the PSA in June 2011.

Yme

Yme is a field in the southeastern part of the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, 130 kilometres northeast of the Ula field. The water depth is 77-93 metres. Yme was discovered in 1987. Production started in 1996 and ceased in 2001.

In March 2018, an amended PDO for the redevelopment of Yme was approved. Production started again in 2021.
