The audit was conducted from 17 to 20 August 2026, with assistance from the Civil Aviation Authority Norway.
Objective
As regards the discipline of Logistics & Emergency preparedness (F-L&B), the objective of the audit was to review processes and systems in order to verify that the helideck complies with regulatory requirements and to contribute to safe helicopter operations and transport of personnel.
The discipline of Structural safety (F-Kon) was afforded special attention as regards inspection and maintenance work linked to the load-bearing structure of the helideck and tertiary structures on Åsgard B. Ensuring the safety of structures and construction details is a priority area in order to help reduce the likelihood of major accidents and personal injuries resulting from structural failure.
Result
One non-conformity was identified related to helideck data, drawings and the helideck information sheet.
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor to report to us by 30 October 2026 on how the non-conformity will be addressed.
