The audit was conducted from 21 to 23 January 2025.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to follow up on how Equinor handles integrity and barrier management of flexible risers and process equipment where CUI may represent a threat. A sub-objective was to follow up the project implementation for Verdande and how the company ensures that the project is carried out so as to reduce to the greatest extent possible the risk of fault, hazard and accident situations.
Result
One non-conformity was identified concerning the updating of governing documents.
An improvement point was also identified concerning plans for CUI inspection and for the rehabilitation of surfaces and insulation.
What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report by 11 April 2025 on how the non-conformity will be addressed, and for their assessment of the improvement point observed.
