The audit was conducted on 14 and 15 August 2024 and forms part of our processing of Macro Offshore’s application for an acknowledgement of compliance (AoC) for Haven.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to examine, by means of spot checks, how the company is following up on structural issues, especially as concerns class renewal and modification of the facility. We wanted to gain an insight into the performance of relevant testing, inspection and maintenance planning linked to structural issues prior to and during the actual classification and upgrading of the facility.
Result
One improvement point was identified concerning the class certificate appendix.
What happens now?
We have asked Macro Offshore to give us its assessment of the observed improvement point by 20 September 2024.
