On June 3 and 4 we carried out an audit of Seadrill and their integrity of structures and maritime systems on the West Linus facility.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify, through presentations, discussions and spot checks, that Seadrill is safeguarding the structural safety of West Linus in accordance with the regulatory requirements.
Result
No non-conformities were identified during the audit.
The following improvement points were identified:
- Follow-up and verification of activities
- Decision support in respect of incidents
- Verification of centre-of-gravity envelope
- Marine fouling
- Barriers
What happens now?
We have asked Seadrill for their assessment of the improvement points we observed.
The deadline for feedback is set at 19 August 2019.
