Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess how WINO is ensuring compliance with barrier management requirements for the operation and management of the Brage facility.
The audit took place on 26 and 27 October 2016.
Result
A non-conformity was identified in connection with the completion of the barrier management system.
In addition, improvement points were detected in connection with:
- Inspection history for penetrations in fire walls
- Facility-specific information in performance standards
WINO has been given a deadline of 2 January 2017 to report on how the non-conformity will be dealt with and how the improvement points will be assessed.
Brage
Brage is a field in the northern part of the North Sea, ten kilometres east of the Oseberg field. The water depth in the area is 140 metres. Brage was discovered in 1980, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 1990. The field has been developed with an integrated production, drilling and accommodation facility with a steel jacket. Production started in 1993.
