Other information: The consent involves the installation of a new connection point on the Snøhvit gas pipeline for future connection of Goliat gas export.
The purpose of installing the connection point is to prepare for the export of gas from Goliat, via the Snøhvit gas pipeline, and on to Hammerfest LNG. The connection to the Snøhvit gas pipeline will be carried out using a Hot Tap concept, which involves connecting to an operating gas pipeline.
