The consent applies to the drilling of production wells on the Duva field in the North Sea.

The drilling activities are scheduled to begin in early November 2019 and estimated to last around 51 days.

Deepsea Yantai is a semi-submersible drilling facility operated by Odfjell Drilling AS. The facility was built at the CIMC Raffles yard in China and was completed in 2016.

Deepsea Yuntai received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) from the PSA in November 2019.

Duva

Duva is a field in the northern part of the North Sea, six kilometres northeast of the Gjøa field. The water depth is 350 metres. Duva was discovered in 2016, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2019. Duva is developed with a subsea facility including three production wells tied-back to the Gjøa Field. Production started in 2021.
