Equinor – Exploration drilling and use of Transocean Norge – Tampen field

The consent applies to exploration well 34/7-37 and use of the Transocean Norge facility for plugging wells 34/7-A-6 H, 34/7-E-4 H, 34/7-B-4 AH, 34/8-V-4 BY1H/BYH2 and for drilling and completing wells 34/7-B-4 BH and 34/8-V-4 CH on the Tampen field.

The drilling operations are expected to last 223 days.

The wells will be drilled by Transocean Norge, which is a semi-submersible facility of the MMCS60 type. The facility was built in Singapore by Sembcorp Marine Ltd at Jurong Shipyard (JSPL) in the period 2012-2016.
