Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify how Equinor performs its role as an independent enterprise of competence in materials handling and crane and lifting operations. The audit also aimed to verify how Equinor ensures the necessary competence of inspectors within the enterprise of competence division who are assigned tasks within the petroleum activities.
Result
No non-conformities were identified.
One improvement point was identified concerning deficiencies in the management of competence.
What happens next?
Equinor has been given a deadline of 15 May 2026 to provide us with an assessment of the improvement point observed.
