The audit was conducted from 8 to 12 September 2025.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to monitor the company's management of the working environment on COSLPioneer, as well as follow up point three of the order issued to COSL pursuant to the audit of the management of the working environment and operations in the drilling areas on COSLPromoter in 2023. Point three of the order contained the following instruction: “Ensure that results and learning also include other facilities with AoCs under COSL’s area of responsibility in Norway.”

Result

The audit identified six non-conformities in the following areas:

  • Statutory training in the working environment
  • Safety data sheets, storage and labelling of chemicals
  • Ventilation
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Analysis of the working environment, processing and use of collected data
  • Passive smoking

In addition, we observed two factors that we have chosen to categorise as improvement points. These concerned:

  • Psychosocial working environment
  • Ergonomic factors

What happens now?

We have asked COSL Drilling to report to us by 9 February 2026 on how the non-conformities will be addressed, and to give us their assessment of the improvement points observed.
