The audit was conducted from 13 to 19 November 2025.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to monitor that Vår Energi has comprehensive risk and barrier management of the subsea facility tied to Jotun so as to contribute to improving health, safety and the environment. We looked at how the project's risk assessments and associated barrier management have been implemented and transferred to the operating organisation's barrier strategy for the subsea facility.
Result
We identified one non-conformity during the audit, concerning a lack of operational routines for handling alarms from annulus monitoring of risers.
We also identified one improvement point related to unclear bow-tie diagrams.
What happens now?
We have asked Vår Energi to report to us by 30 January 2026 on how the non-conformity will be addressed, and to give us their assessment of the improvement point observed.
