SLB – follow-up of temporary equipment and requirements

The audit was conducted on 4 and 5 November 2025.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to verify whether SLB fulfils the requirements set out in the regulations, with a focus on the Facilities Regulations, section 10 concerning installations, systems and equipment, and its guidelines, and in NORSOK Z-0115, with a focus on matters concerning electrical, instrumentation, and telecoms, as well as the ATEX product directive.

Result

We identified three regulatory non-conformities. These concerned:

• Deficient updating of governing documents
• Deficiencies in the declaration of conformity for SNOC 3031 MDT-012
• Deficiencies in NORSOK data sheet for ATC024 and MDT-012

What happens next?

We have asked SLB to report to us by 20 January 2026 on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
