Equinor – Troll – Troll phase 3 step 2

The audit was conducted from 9 April to 11 June 2025.

About the project

Troll phase 3 step 2 (TF3-II) comprises seabed connection of eight new wells divided between two new well templates on the Troll field.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to monitor that the project is being carried out in compliance with the HSE regulations, and that Equinor, in their project management and follow-up, and including their suppliers, are setting out, right from the early implementation phase of the project, to reduce risk and to prevent accidents during start-up and in operation.

Result

The audit identified no non-conformities, but we observed one matter that we have chosen to categorise as an improvement point. This concerned:

• Lack of clarification of responsibility and authority

What happens now?

We have asked Equinor to give us their assessment of the improvement point observed by 15 September 2025.
