The audit was conducted from 1 to 4 September 2025.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to investigate whether the prerequisites for prudent operations on the facility are being maintained until all wells have been permanently plugged and abandoned, the facility has been depressurized and de-energized, and hazardous substances have been identified and handled so as to reduce the likelihood of failure, hazard and accident situations in connection with the disposal of the facility.
Result
The audit identified one non-conformity in the following area:
- Mapping of atmospheric pollution of the workplace
We also observed one factor that we have chosen to categorise as an improvement point. This concerned:
- Improved sharing of working environment information with platform management
What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report to us by 15 November 2025 on how the non-conformity will be addressed, and to give us their assessment of the improvement point observed.
