The audit was conducted from 26 May to 10 June 2025.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that Equinor is working systematically and preventively on occupational health risks for operational and maintenance personnel at Johan Sverdrup, and that work areas and work equipment for these groups of personnel at Johan Sverdrup are designed and positioned so that employees are not exposed to health risks through their work.
Result
Six non-conformities were identified, concerning:
- Working environment analyses
- Chemical working environment
- Ergonomic design
- Safety delegate training
- Risks associated with ergonomically demanding work
- Working hours
In addition, an improvement point was identified relating to:
- Mismatch between tasks and resources
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor to report by 2 January 2026 on how the non-conformities will be addressed and for their assessment of the improvement point observed.
