Aker BP – Ivar Aasen and Edvard Grieg – infield pipes, risers and subsea facilities

The audit was conducted on 11 and 12 March 2025.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to follow up and perform verifications of Aker BP’s operation and maintenance of infield pipes, risers and subsea facilities tied to the Ivar Aasen and Edvard Grieg facilities and how Aker BP plans to maintain and follow up the integrity of these systems. We also wanted to ensure that there is a holistic approach to safe operation in compliance with the regulatory requirements and the company’s own requirements.

Result

No non-conformities were identified.

Two improvement points were identified concerning:

• Governing documents
• Non-conformity handling

We have asked Aker BP to give us their assessment of the improvement points identified by 16 May 2025.
