The audit was conducted from 2 to 5 April 2024.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to follow up the company's management of activities related to materials handling and work at height on Ekofisk 2/4 K and B. The audit included verification of whether the planning and execution of operations within logistics complied with the requirements, as well as following up on the handling and maintenance of lifting equipment and equipment for working at height.
Result
We identified two regulatory non-conformities. These concerned:
- Proficiency certification
- Updating of governing documents for cranes and lifting, and work at height
We also identified three improvement points. These concerned:
- Pre-use inspection of offshore crane
- Offshore crane maintenance programme
- Maintenance of ladders
What happens now?
We have asked ConocoPhillips to report by 24 March 2024 on how the non-conformities will be addressed and for their assessment of the improvement points observed.
