SafeNor – market surveillance

The audit was conducted on 10 May 2023.

Objective

The objective of the market surveillance was to ensure that SafeNor AS complies with the requirements in the regulations relating to pressure equipment, primarily diving cylinders (scuba tanks) and associated valves.

Result

We identified two non-conformities during the audit. These concerned:

• Deficient fulfilment of the distributor's obligations
• Deficient fulfilment of the importer's obligations

What happens now?

We have asked SafeNor to report to us by 18 September 2023 on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
