The audit was conducted on 23 May 2023.

Background

Fenja is a subsea development with two subsea templates and four wells, tied back to the Njord A platform for processing, as well as storage and export via the Njord B vessel.

In September 202 and November, 2021 we carried out audits of the organisation, management and follow-up of the Fenja project. The present audit was a continuation of these and was focused on the start-up of the facility.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to verify that operational prerequisites for start-up and use comply with the HSE regulations.

Result

The audit identified one factor that we have chosen to categorise as an improvement point. This concerned deficiencies in the functional testing of safety systems.

What happens now?

We have asked Neptune to give us their assessment of the improvement point observed by 22 August 2023.
