The audit was conducted from 23 to 26 May 2023.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to follow up how:

  • On the basis of its role, Equinor verifies that Wood and Beerenberg ensure that personnel (including temporary hires) are not exposed to health risks and that the risk of errors in materials handling and work at height is reduced
  • Wood and Beerenberg ensure that their own employees and hires are not exposed to health risks and that the risk of errors in materials handling and work at height is reduced
  • Equinor, Wood and Beerenberg facilitate genuine employee participation at Grane

Result

Eight non-conformities were identified during the audit. These concern:

  • Inadequate coordination of plans (Equinor)
  • Inadequate planning and mismatch between resources and activities (Wood)
  • Inadequate system for recording working hours (Wood)
  • Breach of the working hours provisions (Wood)
  • Inadequate management of noise risk (Wood)
  • Organisation of work and risk assessment of working hours (Beerenberg)
  • Inadequate management of noise risk (Beerenberg)
  • Operational and technical responsible for lifting equipment and lifting operations (Equinor)
  • In addition, one improvement point was identified in connection with the Working Environment Committee (AMU) (Equinor).

What happens now?

We have asked Equinor, Wood and Beerenberg for their assessment of the improvement points identified. The reply deadline is set at 29 November 2023.
