The audit was conducted from 15 to 23 August 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to carry out an audit of Equinor's application of experience from the start-up and operation of Johan Sverdrup phase 2 for learning purposes, so as to reduce the probability of failure, hazard and accident situations linked to HC leaks.
Result
Three non-conformities were identified, concerning:
- Deficient follow-up of the alarm systems
- Deficient notification or reporting of incidents
- Shortages of temporary containers
In addition, five improvement points were identified, concerning:
- Barrier management
- Collection of maintenance history
- Start-up and operation of facilities
- Follow-up
- Planning the insulation work
