The audit was conducted from 8 May to 9 June 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to monitor how the company complies with the regulatory requirements for electrical facilities, and work in and operation of electrical facilities, so as to reduce the likelihood of failures, hazards and accidents.
In the audit, we also verified whether previously identified non-conformities and orders we have made have been addressed in compliance with the company’s feedback to us.
Result
We identified two non-conformities, concerning:
- Drag-chain issues
- Labelling of equipment
We also identified three improvement points concerning:
- Emergency lighting
- Monitoring and verification of safety-critical heat conservation
- Competence gaps in CAMS in respect of safety delegates and managers
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed, and for their assessment of the improvement points identified. The deadline for reply is set at 15 September 2023.
