The audit was conducted from 26 to 29 September 2023.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to verify that the operator’s disposal of the Heimdal gas centre complies with regulatory requirements for prudent operations in all phases, from shutdown to disposal of the field and completion of clean-up in accordance with the decommissioning plan.
Result
We identified one non-conformity concerning information on exposure to hazardous chemicals.
We also identified an improvement point concerning chemical health hazards and noise.
What happens now?
We have asked Equinor to report to us on how the non-conformity will be addressed and for their assessment of the improvement point identified. The reply deadline is set at 12 December 2023.
