The audit was conducted between 20 and 22 September 2022.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to assess how Equinor ensured compliance with regulatory requirements related to risk management, technical barriers and maintenance in the operation of the Norne FPSO within these disciplines.
Result
Six non-conformities were identified, concerning:
- Planning and prioritisation
- Non-conformity handling
- Ignition source control
- The fire pump system
- Process safety
- Documentation
No improvement points were identified.
What happens next?
We have asked Equinor to report to us by 15 March 2023 on how the non-conformities will be addressed.
