The audit was conducted from 30 October to 2 November 2023.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to verify the processes and systems that contribute to ensuring comprehensive emergency preparedness management.

Result

The audit identified one non-conformity, relating to:

  • Protective equipment for the MOB function

We also observed three factors we have chosen to categorise as improvement points. These concerned:

  • Evacuation route
  • System for ensuring competence of new personnel in response teams
  • Drop zone in case of evacuation by lifeboats

What happens now?

We have asked Equinor to report to us by 15 January 2024 on how the non-conformity will be addressed, and to give us their assessment of the improvement points observed.
