The audit was conducted on 5 and 6 April 2022 and was focused on Archer's compliance and follow-up of the working hours provisions in contracts with Equinor, at Visund and Snorre A respectively.

Objective

The objective of the audit was to monitor how the working hours provisions are adhered to, such that hazardous conditions are avoided, safe operations are ensured and the risk of failure, hazard and accident situations is reduced.

Result

The audit identified two regulatory non-conformities, and we observed two matters that we have chosen to categorize as improvement points.

Non-conformities:

  • Breach of the working hours provisions
  • System for recording working hours

Improvement points:

  • Weaknesses in regulatory competence and interpretation
  • Follow-up of working hours and workloads for particularly vulnerable groups

What happens now?

We have asked Archer to report to us by 30 September 2022 on how the non-conformities will be addressed, and to give us their assessment of the improvement points observed.
