The audit was conducted between 13 and 17 September 2021.


The objective of the audit was to follow up incidents from the last 24 months in the areas of materials handling, cranes and lifting, and work at height.


Non-conformities were identified relating to:

  • Arrangements for the maintenance and storage of scaffolding materials
  • Materials handling of filters
  • Use of scaffolding

In addition, improvement points were identified relating to:

  • Maintenance
  • Lifting operations using personnel lifts
  • Scaffolding

What happens now?

We have asked Equinor to report on how the non-conformities will be addressed. The company has also been asked for its assessment of the improvement points observed. The deadline for this is set at 19 January 2022.
