Equinor – Johan Sverdrup phase 2 – overpressure protection of inlet arrangements and leak detection for subsea facilities

The audit was carried out between 12 May 2020 and 12 April 2021.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to monitor that the design of overpressure protection of inlet arrangements on P2 and the choice of systems for leak detection for the subsea facilities have been carried out in accordance with the regulatory requirements.

Result
No non-conformities were identified.

One improvement point was identified relating to the overriding of interlocks.

What happens next?
We have asked Equinor for its assessment of the improvement point observed. The reply deadline is set at 19 June 2021.
