The audit was carried out on 21 and 22 April 2021.

The Civil Aviation Authority Norway participated in the audit as an auxiliary agency. Three regulatory non-conformities were identified. These were:

  • Helideck data
  • Safety net
  • Marking of obstacles

We have asked Equinor to report by 18 June 2021 on how the non-conformities will be addressed.

On condition that the relevant non-conformities are rectified, the Civil Aviation Authority Norway recommends that the helideck at Njord A is accepted for helicopter operations. For its part, the Civil Aviation Authority Norway will follow up the non-conformities with the helicopter companies.
